What To Expect

Ahoy! Embark on this exploration to the first maritime museum located in the Gulf of United Arab of Emirates. Learn about Sharjah's maritime history; its ports and coats, how they used to fish, find pearls, and their methods of trading. Adjacent to the museum is the Sharjah Aquarium, perfect for all thalassophile to complete the tour. It's the first and most spacious aquarium in the UAE with 21 aquariums with more than 1.8 million liters of water. See more than 100 sea creatures' species including some local fishes, clownfish, seahorses, moray eels, sea rays, and reef sharks. The aquarium also initiated a turtle rehabilitation program where they helped sick and injured sea turtles before releasing them back to their natural habitat, so you will not only learn about marine life itself but also how to help them and preserve their ecosystem.
