What To Expect
On this tour you will enjoy a beautiful boat tour of Butrint Lake: where you will see how the mussels are cultivated, and learn about how they grow.
After returning to shore, you will visit The Mussel House, and have some free time to enjoy a nice glass of wine, accompanied by some of the freshest mussels you may ever eat - harvested from that very lake!

Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Most travelers can participate. Not recommended for travelers with shellfish allergies. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers. Traveler pickup is offered
Mussel tours times may vary, so please contact us to ensure the appropriate time. But generally they take place after 5pm, each evening, during Mussel harvesting season.
We can pick up our guests at the port, at their hotel/accommodation in Saranda, or at the Tea Tours Main Office (Rruga Skënderbeu).
