What To Expect
Gyumri is the second largest city in Armenia. It is located on the Shirak Plateau, which crosses several mountain gorges. ou will discover the city center with its two famous churches, as well as visit the Dzitoghtsyan Museum, which is also known as the Museum of Architecture and Folk Life. Black Fortress is an abandoned Russian imperial fortress in Gyumri city. The fortress, which lies 8 kilometres from the Turkish border, was built in response to the Russo-Turkish War of 1828–1829. It is one of the most beautiful a historical-cultural monuments in Armenia!
