What To Expect

We give participants the technical equipment and a watertight bag so that they can store their belongings and food. Once dressed, we regulate the kayaks (passengers go in double kayaks and guides in single ones) we carry out training on safety and evacuation. Once the whole group is in the water, the paddle begins.
The guides are permanently assisting the participants, checking the paddling form and safety.
The first kayak trip lasts approximately 1.15 hour (10 km)
In the Cerro Fortaleza area, we stop for lunch and trek through Cerro Los Hornos to a viewpoint where you can see bones and petrified logs. Time for lunch and a 2 hour walk.
We go back up to the kayaks to make the last 1 hour stretch observing the geological formations and the steppe vegetation until the Arroyo El Turbio where the vehicle awaits us to take us back to Calafate.
