Tour to Perito Moreno Glacier with nautical safari

Departure at 09:00 am from your accommodation to begin the Perito Moreno Glacier excursion, accompanied throughout the journey by a bilingual guide from Los Glaciares National Park.

80 km are traveled to the walkways area in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Starting the tour, towards the right of the road you can see the Argentino Lake and its Redonda Bay.

In the first 50 km, the Patagonian steppe dominates the landscape. Within Los Glaciares National Park, tree vegetation predominates, mostly belonging to the Nothofagus family (Lengas, Ñires, Coihues de Magallanes). Please note that you must pay the entrance to the Park. The guide will also explain the rules of behavior within the National Park. During the remaining 30 km, stops will be made to take panoramic photos and the first views of the Moreno Glacier.

Upon arrival we will do it in the area of ​​the catwalks and the guide will explain the options of circuits that are possible to travel.

The walk on the catwalks is free, however the guide will accompany the group to the main balcony and will remain providing assistance. The walkways have an extension of 5 km and are made up of stairways that descend to approach about 300 meters from the front of the glacier.

You will combine this tour with a boat ride - Nautical safari. During one hour you will be sailing through the Rich Branch of Lake Argentino, at a distance of 150 meters from the south face of the glacier.

Then return to the hotel in Calafate city centre.
