What To Expect
This tour is designed for those who, in addition to sailing in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, dream of getting closer to the glacier ice!
The excursion begins in El Calafate when the bus leaves for Los Glaciares National Park. Once in Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, we will take a boat to cross Lake Rico and after sailing for 20 minutes, we will disembark on the opposite coast.
We will walk for 30 minutes always with a view of the southern wall of the Glacier in case some thunderous landslide surprises us.
We will be able to fully enjoy its intense and varied blues and whites.
The total walk is 1.30 hours through a natural terrain of sand and stones with some slopes and stairs. The route, of one and a half kilometers, will be along the shore of the lake and through a lush forest with a view of the Glacier.
We will take the boat to appreciate the south face of the glacier
Finally we will take the bus to the catwalks where we will have 2 hours to enjoy the incredible panoramic view.

Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Most travelers can participate. The tour schedule will depend on the availability at the time your reservation is confirmed, it can be in the morning or in the afternoon, the turn will be confirmed when sending you the itinerary.. Wear comfortable and warm clothing. Waterproof jacket and pants, sports shoes or waterproof trekking boots. The weather is changeable and you have to be prepared not to get wet or cold. Sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves, hat.. Bring food and drink for the day. The Company does not have a food or beverage sales service.. Entrance to the National Park: You must pay it in cash (in Argentine pesos) upon arrival at the National Park.. Note: This tour does NOT include a walk on the Perito Moreno Glacier.. Recommendations: -Bring a box lunch to have lunch in the forest on the shore of the lake, before boarding. -. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
