What To Expect
Guided departure from El Calafate along Route 15, the "road of the ranches", which connects different stories in Patagonia: Once inside Los Glaciares National Park, you will arrive at the Nibepo Aike Ranch where all the stories converge. There, where the first settler arrived more than 100 years ago, there is a ranch dedicated to raising cattle, sheep and horses. They tour their corrals and sheds, where they participate in a manual shearing demonstration.
In the Quincho of the Estancia Nibepo Aike, a typical Patagonian lamb roast is served. Then there is a walk to the Los Pioneros pier, from where a navigation through the South Arm and Rico Arm of Lake Argentino begins.
Once again on board, the navigation covers the southern face of the Perito Moreno glacier. Opportunity to observe the landslides and appreciate how its front approaches the Magallanes Peninsula

Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. Most travelers can participate. If total or partial navigation is not possible, an alternative plan is made by accessing the Perito Moreno Glacier from the Nibepo Aike Ranch by land, and if possible, navigating in front of the Glacier. There is no refund.. What to bring: Sunscreen and sunglasses. Sun hat or warm hat. Trekking shoes or comfortable shoes. Comfortable clothes to walk in a mountain environment. Coat to withstand temperatures of 0°C Buff or face and neck protector. Waterproof jacket since they can touch light or intense rainy days.. Lunch: roast lamb, variety of salads, dessert, soft drinks and wine. Vegetarian option (lentil and vegetable stew). Reference schedules: schedules may vary depending on the weather or group dynamics. 09:30 am: the tour of the hotels in El Calafate begins. 2:00 p.m.: start of navigation from Los Pioneros pier 4:00 p.m.: disembark at Bajo las Sombras. 7:00 p.m.: arrival in El Calafate (those who return by boat to Nibepo Aike arrive at Los Pioneros pier around 6:15 p.m.). Duration: from El Calafate 9 hours / from Los Pioneros pier 7 hours. //// 3 hours of transfers / 1:20 hours of navigation / 40' walk / 1:30 hours on the catwalks..
