What To Expect

Visit one of the most important monuments in Tyrol! Looked after by the Capuchin order, the Court Church is famous for hosting the tomb of Emperor Maximilian. Even if the Emperor is not buried there, his grandson Ferdinand I ordered the construction of this impressive tomb surrounded by 28 bronze statues representing ancestors and heroes. You'll also admire the 450-year-old organ by Jörg Ebert, considered as one of the oldest Renaissance organs in the world; the Silver Chapel, which hosts the tombs of Archduke Ferdinand and his civil wife Philippine Welsers and the tomb of Andreas Hofer.
