What To Expect

Experience the excitement of cruising with Humpback whales during their migration through the pristine Solitary Island Marine Park. We take limited passengers due to social distancing requirements, ensuring you have ample opportunity to see the whales up close and personal. We have been continuously operating since 1994, so we have the experience and knowledge of how to maximise your time with the whales. Whale watching is our passion and this is best shared with small passenger groups, where you have freedom to move about the wide deck, uninterrupted viewing, no restrictive seating and no crowds.

Cruises are 2 hrs, departing from Coffs Harbour International Marina.

As we locate whales from headlands prior to each cruise, we generally have whales near the boat within 15 minutes of leaving the harbour.

Important info

Infants must sit on laps. Not wheelchair accessible. Children must be accompanied by an adult. We recommend warm layered clothing including hat and jacket as sea breezes are often cool. Dress appropriately for the weather on the day of the cruise. Stroller accessible. Service animals allowed. Soft sole non marking shoes. Cruises are on the open ocean and whilst we do not venture far from the shoreline, guests should be able to cope with wave action. The boat has open deck space with various levels. It is necessary to climb 1 metre high stairs to access the boat. Subject to favorable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund. Due to covid 19 If you are showing flu like symptoms please do not make this booking. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff. Social distancing enforced throughout experience. Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas. Gear/equipment sanitized between use. Guides required to regularly wash hands. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers.
