Join us on an adventure of a lifetime to photograph the majestic female matriarch, Cassowary, that has been roaming this ancient rain forest for over 40 years. This is your chance to witness the beauty of nature and capture a once-in-a-lifetime moment with your camera.
Our swimming locations for the day are Josephine Falls and Babinda Boulders' both are stunning swimming holes surrounded by lush rain forest.
After a short rain forest walk through the rain forest to the Devil’s Pools lookout, we enjoy a delicious lunch, whilst you will learn about the famous Indigenous Legend that gave these beautiful pools their eerie name. Float in the cool, clear water and enjoy your serene, luscious rain forest surroundings.
**Please note guests cannot take a selfie or a photo “with” the cassowary – you can take photos of the Cassowary from afar. Guests must always stay behind the guide and must follow all instructions from the guide.
