Join the crew onboard the Reef Daytripper as you sail towards Upolu Reef, a very beautiful location situated on the edge of the Outer Barrier Reef, teeming with marine life and an array of corals. In the sheltered lagoon you will see a multitude of giant clams, turtles, sea stars and reef fish. This offers a perfect snorkeling or diving experience in warm clear protected waters.A complementary snorkel guide is available, which offers a fun and informative addition to the day’s exploration. With just under four hours at Upolu Reef, your aim will be to visit two sites, allowing plenty of time to snorkel dive or just relax on the boat and soak up the sun.You may join the guided snorkel tour, where the dive professionals will aim to enhance your snorkeling experience by identifying and explaining the different marine species that local the reef, along with some migratory animals such as turtles, sharks and rays. You can sign up for SCUBA diving on the day.Even if you're experienced or just a beginner, this experience can accommodate both certified and introductory diving with the aim to offer you unlimited time for dives, which means you won't be rushed at any point.   • Please note the family ticket options are priced per group
  • You may add an extra dive to your experience at an extra cost
  • This experience is not suitable for people with limited mobility, pregnant women or children under four years old and service animals are not allowed
  • All persons traveling aboard are subjected to a A$15.00 levy
  • SCUBA diving can present certain health risks, and ALL candidates are subject to a medical questionnaire before diving is permitted. Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical questionnaire for Resort Diving here https://www.reefdaytripper.com.au/assets/medical-questionaire.pdf If you find you have any of the medical conditions listed and you answer yes to any question, a dive medical complying with current Queensland standards should be arranged prior to travelling with Reef Daytripper
  • Certified divers are required to provide proof of certification
  • Please bring a towel, hat and sunglasses , 50+ sunscreen, travel calm, a Certification card (for certified divers), money for any on board purchases and warm clothing for the end of the day
  • You are also welcome to bring your own equipment for diving and snorkelling if you prefer, though, equipment hire is price inclusive
  • The minimum age for diving is 12 years old and the maximum number of capacity is 20 passengers
  • Generally a 12-hour wait is advisable before any pressurised flights and a 24-hour wait if a diver has done multiple dives over several days or decompression stop diving. Specific advice is usually available from the recognised dive tables selected for the dive
