Once you get off the train you'll be greeted by the charm of Leuven and its people. Visit Grote Markt or Mayor square, in it you will find the Church of San Pedro and the famous Town Hall, a masterpiece of the Gothic Brabantino. You can see "the longest bar in the world" in the Oude Mark. Learn about the story of Father Damien, considered a hero by the citizens of Leuven where he studied. Of course, you will see the important university and the impressive library which were rebuilt after World War II.
