What To Expect

We depart from the harbor of Blankenberge with the Water-Taxi for a journey of 27 km in the open sea to the Thornton Bank. We sail past the wind farms of Norther and C-Power, among others. These windmills provide green energy for many families in Flanders. From the water you have a unique view of these wind farms.

During this 2.5-hour trip, our experienced crew will be happy to tell you more about the windmills, the North Sea and everything that is involved in sailing: shipping routes, buoys, currents, tides, ... You will undoubtedly listen with interest to their expert explanation.

The interactive explanation about the wind farms at sea starts 30 minutes before the departure time. This takes place in our Water-Taxi office Wenduinse Steenweg 10, 8370 Blankenberge.
