What To Expect
Join us on an exciting bird-watching tour in the beautiful community of Humahuaca, located on the shores of the majestic Lake Titicaca. This full-day tour is designed for nature lovers and bird enthusiasts who want to explore the region's rich biodiversity, with particular emphasis on the famous Titicaca Grebe, an endemic species. You will be accompanied by a specialized bird guide, who will share his knowledge and experience as you delve into a world of feathers and songs.
Itinerary:
6:30 am: Departure from La Paz
We will meet at the agreed meeting point in La Paz. Make sure you have your binoculars, camera, and appropriate clothing for bird watching.
8:30 a.m.: Arrival in Humahuaca
9:30 am - 12:30 pm: Morning Exploration
12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Lunch
1:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Afternoon Exploration
During this part of the tour, our guide will teach us additional birding techniques and share local bird stories.
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Return to La Paz
