What To Expect
The tour begins with a panoramic visit to the Elevador Lacerda that connects the upper city to the lower city, the first urban elevator in the world. Mercado Modelo with stop for shopping. Bonfim Church from the 18th century, important pilgrimage site. Fort Mont Serrat, one of the oldest fortresses in Bahia. Dique do Toror'r to admire the impressive sculptures of the Orixás by artist Tati Moreno and the Fonte Nova Arena.

Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Most travelers can participate.
