What To Expect
Lençóis Maranhenses are located on the eastern coast of Maranhão, and the village of Atins is one of the gateway to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Located in the municipality of Barreirinhas, it is located in the mouth Preguiças River, where its waters converge with the Atlantic Ocean. Around this village there are beaches and dunes, as well as lagoons with transparent and crystalline waters that form during the rainy season

Important info
Infants must sit on laps. Most travelers can participate. Not wheelchair accessible. A stop will be made at a market so you can buy water, soda, fruit and cookies (alcoholic drinks are not allowed in the park).. Don't forget to bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses.. Wear light clothing. Also bring a swim suit to enjoy the Lagoons.. It is important to note that the lagoons change every rainy season and also from one week to another, depending on the amount of rain and the dry season.. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 40 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
