Curitiba place of a lot of pine nuts. Nothing fairer, since Araucaria, the tree that gives the pine nuts, is the symbol of the city. Araucaria or Pinheiro do Paraná was for several decades an important state resource. With about 2,000,000 inhabitants, it is entitled the Ecological Capital of Brazil.
