What To Expect
First time in Rio de Janeiro? This giant metropolis can be overwhelming, busy and crowded and yet, there are so many beautiful landmarks that you won't want to miss. This tour takes you to the most famous sights in Rio de Janeiro!During this tour you will:
- see the Sugarloaf and Corcovado Mountains, including the impressive Christ Redeemer statue overlooking the city
- do a panoramic tour or Rio with a professional guide
- see the Sambradome, stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral and discover the Cinelandia Square and its wealth of historical buildings
- see the Municipal Theater, National Library, and National Museum of Fine Arts
- ride the iconic cable cars all the way up the mountain, stopping at Urca Hill and its vantage point overlooking Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niteroi bridge and Corcovado mountain
- finish your ascent to the top of Sugarloaf, enjoying gorgeous views of the Copacabana beach and Santa Cruz Fortress
- enjoy lunch at a barbecue house (if you select the option with lunch at the time of purchase) before you head over to the base of Corcovado Mountain via the Cosme Vehlo Train
- ride through the lush and dense Tijuca rainforest to the towering Christ Redeemer statue

- Pay attention to the location of the hotel you are staying at. There are pick ups in hotels in the South Zone of the city and Barra da Tijuca. They are distinct zones with different prices. If you are staying in São Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema or Copacabana, please select the option South Zone hotels. If you are staying in Barra da Tijuca, please select the option Barra hotels.
