Discover this bucolic colonial city of Embu das Artes, located about 45 minutes away from São Paulo. Embu das Artes known as the “city of arts”, the village initially emerged between 1555 and 1559 is currently known as a center of concentration of painters, artisans and sculptors who, on weekends, exhibit their work in its 38 galleries, antique shops and at the famous Embu das Artes Fair.
Still, it offers a rich food court and a space for displaying ornamental plants and flowers. In short, the visitor, when taking the city tour in Embu das Artes, walking between winding streets of colonial architecture, will be able to know a little more about Brazilian art and history exposed in the Museum of Sacred Art of the Jesuits.
