What To Expect
An adventurous full day starts with a 15 minute drive from your hotel in San Ignacio to Xunantunich.
After exploring & climbing El Castillo and rest of the Maya site you will then be driving (approx 1.5hrs) to 'Jaguar Paw' where you will enjoy lunch before getting your cave tubing gear before hiking (approx 20 - 30 mins depending on your pace) to the starting point of the cave tubing tour.
Go cave tubing, through the crystalline water of this underground system and enjoy a relaxing tubing adventure.
(This tour may be affected by seasonal rains - flash floods, so your tour may be susceptible to changes only during extremely wet days)
(lunch is sometimes home made packed lunch (especially for special dietary needs) OR lunch at a local restaurant at 'Jaguar Paw')
Private tours can be arranged.
Shared tours can be only 2 of you, if you are the only 2ppl for this tour date (rarely 6 or 8ppl) Families/groups larger than 5ppl automatically get private tour)

Not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. A minimum of 2 people per booking is required. Level of fitness required: moderate. Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults. ALL PARTICiPANTS must be 40inches and taller to be able to participate in the cave tubing tour wherever applicable. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking: vegan/vegetarian/gluten free. using the Special Requirements field-Please inform us if you or any guests are non-swimmers,. Things to bring: a COMPLETE change of clothes, sunscreen and insect repellent. EXTRA FEE for any pickup & drop off to: mystic river resort/GAIA/Blancaneaux/Hidden valley/Black Rock/Sweet Songs/Table Rock/Monkey falls/Mahogany hall/parrots nest + a few more. FEE varies as per location of resort. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 14 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
