What To Expect

Join Prince of Whales on board their floating classroom and let them introduce you to the wonders of their marine environment. Located on Vancouver Island, Telegraph Cove is a historic fishing village and sanctuary for whale watchers and conservationists. On this tour, you’ll ride a Zodiac-style boat with a marine mammal expert for a fully-guided adventure of whale and marine wildlife watching.

You must be at least 7 years old to join this tour
Vessel: open-air Zodiac-style, up to 12 passengers per vessel
Participants under 19 years of age require a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf
This vessel is not suitable for anyone with a history of serious medical conditions including but not limited to, back or neck injuries, recent surgery, and/or current or suspected pregnancy
Each passenger is required to sign a Release of Liability at check-in
There is a minimum height restriction of 4ft/120cm: this typically applies to children under 7 years old, and the minimum weight required is 50 pounds/23 kilos
A full-body exposure suit will be provided for all passengers and are required to be worn by Transport Canada
The tour is covered by the Year-Round Whale Sightings Guarantee: if you don't see whales, you can join another tour, free of charge, at any point in the future (some conditions apply)
The boat used for this adventure is not wheelchair accessible; if you require assistance, please contact the provider (information will be in your voucher)
