Enjoy this half day tour along PEI’s south shore. Departing from the Charlottetown waterfront, you will see old Charlottetown and hear about its important role in the founding of Canada. From the city, we head west into communities of the farmlands and tidy rural homes on our way to Victoria-by-the-Sea. This quaint artisan village holds many treasures, from a pretty range of lighthouse to craft shops, the wharf and cafés. Leaving Victoria, you will see more of PEI’s red sandstone shore and the Confederation Bridge comes into view. This record-setting structure is an engineering marvel. We stop at the foot of the bridge for an up-close look, and another lighthouse. Before you return to town, we stop at Cows Factory for a self-guided tour. Cows is famous for its award-winning ice cream, cheese and themed parody clothing. Enjoy an ice cream or sorbet on us. The final leg of this tour is in Charlottetown, through pretty neighbourhoods, Victoria Park and another view of historic downtown.
