What To Expect
On this afternoon excursion, enjoy the ascent by different aerial cable cars to beautiful Mt Pilatus with possibilities of easy hikes and gorgeous photo opportunities. Descend by the world's steepest cogwheel railway and end the tour with a relaxing boat ride on Lake Lucerne.Your exciting half-day adventure starts with a short coach ride to Kriens, where you take the panoramic gondolas to Fräkmüntegg. Then hop aboard the aerial cableway "Dragon Ride" and enjoy the jaw-dropping views out of the panoramic windows, specially designed to give the feeling of flying.Once at the top of Mt Pilatus (2,132 m), venture down the Dragon's Path or go for a short hike to the summit. Later you can relax on the panorama terrace admiring magnificent views over the surrounding mountains of the Swiss Alps and the blue lakes in the valleys below.

Know in advance:
- From 21 Oct to 08 Nov 2024, the panorama gondola and the aerial cable car will be replaced by the cogwheel railway, due to maintenance
- From 21 Oct to 17 Nov 2024, the ascent and descent will be done by cogwheel train, with no boat ride, but a lunch voucher included (CHF20.00 per adult / CHF 10.00 per child)
- The boat ride on Lake Lucerne is available from 09 May to 20 Oct 2024
- During the months of October and November, tour routing and means of transport, including boats and cable cars, may have to be unexpectedly amended - without prior notice, due to maintenance work
- Refunds aren't possible for last-minute tour cancellations due to flight changes or unforeseen health issues. Please consider travel insurance before your trip to cover such situations
- External weather conditions are beyond the local provider's control. Refunds due to poor or less than ideal weather are not possible
- Carbon-balanced operations are certified by a non-profit climate protection organization
