The trip also includes an independent visit to the charming old town of Lucerne.The journey starts with a lovely scenic coach ride along the beautiful Lake of the Four Cantons to Weggis, a charming summer resort on the shores of the lake. Board the aerial cable car to Rigi Kaltbad where you change to Europe's first mountain railway, which leads up to the summit of Rigi-Kulm (1800m).In the afternoon, you'll descend by cogwheel train to Vitznau and board the public boat for a lovely 1-hour cruise on the picturesque Lake of the Four Cantons towards Lucerne. Here you can enjoy a stroll on the medieval streets of the charming old town and see the famous Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church and the Town Hall before meeting your tour guide to return to Zurich.

Where you'll meet
The departure place is the Sihlquai Bus Station (Limmatstrasse 2), located behind the train station, in front of the Hotel Fred. You'll need to check in at the counter marked with “Best of Switzerland Tours”. Please have the QR code on your voucher ready and present it printed or electronically on your smartphone or tablet.
