The Terracotta Army is the most significant archeological excavation of the 20th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The large collection of life-size terra cotta sculptures in battle formations represent the imperial guard troops of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the first unified dynasty of Imperial China.
Visit the three pits where the warriors are on display , where you can discover one of the most extraordinary features of the terracotta warriors: each warrior appears to have distinct features, an incredible feat of craftsmanship and production.
