The next day, you go sightseeing in Lhasa and many historic places in the city. Some of them are Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace, Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery. Next, you head to Shigatse via Gyantse. You also drive through Kamba La and Karo La passes on the way. Further, you drive to Rongbuk via Xegar through Gyu La and Gyatso La passes. Then, you hike to the Everest Base Camp (South Part) and relish the view of the Mt. Everest (8848m).
