Very close to Medellín is the Santo Domingo River canyon, which forms amazing landscapes thanks to its steep mountains covered by tropical forest and adorned with high waterfalls that plunge into the river.
This privileged place is home to one of the last free rivers in Antioquia. There you will enjoy its crystal-clear waters and one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet that delights its visitors with hundreds of birds, colorful butterflies and an innumerable variety of plants.
We will walk largely along old paths in the middle of the forest that go along the river. You will also receive a warm welcome from a friendly farming community that is always happy to welcome visitors and offer delicious local dishes.
Learn how we contribute to rural communities by linking them in our ecotourism activities, allowing them to benefit economically and remain in their territories while conserving nature.
