What To Expect

Enjoy hiking in the Andean mountains. Combeima Canyon is a prodigious ecosystem located in the Central Cordillera of the Colombian Andes. The canyon it is located 45 minutes from Ibague with a total length of 28 km on the rise, ranging from 1.283 m to 2.230 meters, which is carved by the Rio Combeima and serves as a gateway to Los Nevados Natural National. The low mountain path begins in the village of Juntas; the journey ascent lasts for three hours; first stop is up to the La Riviera farm heading to cross the canyon in a cable car to observed the canyon deepness and enjoy a delicious local meal. Afterward, hiking back another three hours in a path within the mountain range to return to Juntas Village. Transfer to the hotel around 16:00.

Important info

Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not wheelchair accessible. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. Operated by a spanish speaking guide. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking. A minimum of 2 people per booking is required. The duration of transfers are approximate one hour, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
