What To Expect
The cultural tour will envelop you in the sweetness of the Sugar Cane. How about sharing some of our most precious traditions such as the “ox-operated sugar mill” (trapiche), hand made tortillas, aromatic fresh coffee and some guanacastecan appetizers made of corn. We invite to meet some folks who will be glad to tell you the real story of Costa Rican Haciendas and the working families. An enjoyable occasion for everyone!
Explore the Palo verde national park and take a relaxing riverboat cruise down the famous Tempisque River . Enjoy an incredible number of birds, Howler Monkies and white face Capuchin Monkies, as well as crocodiles and some other species in their natural habitat.
learn about the whole process of how rum is prepared from the harvest of the sugar cane plant to the taste of your mouth. Enriched with the benefits of most important river in the Blue Zone of Costa Rica, Rio Tempisque prepare your own rum infused bottle from a variety of fruits and spices.

Not wheelchair accessible. Most travelers can participate. Private tour. ( Cultural activity and boat tour there may be more people but you will always have your own guide all day.). Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults. A minimum of 2 adults per booking is required.. Please check the Tour options and pricing that you are buying. Since the number of people does not match with the pricing the balance will be pay it at the pick up time in cash.. Infant meals are not included. Liquor purchase is optional.. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate.
