The Tamarindo estuary is a long and vast river mouth with mangrove forest located. It is located between Tamarindo and Playa Grande. The labyrinth of meanders, streams and lagoons is vast and rarely explored. It is a perfect 2.5 hour trip for nature lovers. You can paddle through the calm waters of the estuary, between Playa Tamarindo and Playa Grande. On sunny days you can see a wide variety of bird species, crocodiles, iguanas and other animals.
