What To Expect
Your breathtaking adventure begins with a pickup from the pier and a relaxing private drive through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside on an air-conditioned transportation and recent model deluxe vehicle or mini bus.
Our tour is operated at Carara Adventure Park, a privately own reserve with 80 acres of rainforest and stunning views of the Pacific Coast, Carara National Park and Puntarenas City.
After instructions, the groups will be transferred to the top of the mountain by a modified open truck where the zip line begins. This zip line includes 12 Cables, 15 Platforms & 3 Hanging Bridges. The longest cable is 1.200 feet long and the highest point about 100 feet.
After this great adventure our tour will continue with a short drive to Tarcoles River, where a 60 minutes Eco boat tour will allow you to enjoy the abundant wildlife of the area, including the huge crocodiles, multiple aquatic birds, scarlet macaws, howler monkeys and other species

Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Not wheelchair accessible. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. This tour is exclusive for cruise ship passengers. If you are not arriving by cruise ship please do not book this tour. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 200 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking

Traveler pickup is offered
This tour is exclusive for cruise ship passengers. If you are not arriving by cruise ship please do not book this tour. Tour operate only when we have cruise ships in port.
Pick up is at the main gate entrance of the pier. It is a very short walking distance from the cruise ship.
Once at the entrance of the pier, you will see a Greenway Tours Guide holding a sign with your name.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PICKUP TIME
All our pickup times are set to 8:00 AM by default.
HOWEVER: If your ship arrives after 8:00 AM, the Pickup will be 30 minutes after ship arrival. You can book your tour and we will adjust the time accordingly with your ship arrival.
If you ship is late, our staff will wait for you till the ship dock and allow you disembark. We operate all our tours accordingly with the ship´s arrival.
