In this activity we want to share with you a local experience combined with the history of how Monteverde became the destination it is today.
It is a tour for people who want to know the customs, traditions and history of the Monteverdens. Juanita's Typical Ranch restaurant is the only one in the area where customers can feel like they were in Costa Rica before, since they can see Doña Juanita cooking in her wood stove and preparing the traditional dishes of our country. In the visit to the Root of the Ficus, we will enjoy a natural scenic beauty, Then we will visit the Santa Elena Monteverde Handicrafts Cooperative (CASEM), which is where the sale of Handcrafts is made in the Monteverde area. And finally, we will make a visit to the Monteverde Cheese Factory, which is one of the most important activities in the area, since it has a great history along with the conservation of Monteverde.
