What To Expect

This tour covers not only the flora and fauna of the park, but the history and culture of Monteverde as well. It lasts about 3 hours and it includes private guide only. We can pick you up (additional fee) or, if you have your own vehicle, we can meet you at a trail.

A tour with a seasoned guide is the best way to make the most of your time in Monteverde. It provides flexibility of timing, duration, and trail choice.

This option is great for anyone who would like a more personal touch than a standard group tour. Also great for families with children! We offer a flat rate for your private guide, meaning it will be the same price for your one-social-bubble group of 1-8 people. A great value!

Important info

Wheelchair accessible. Most travelers can participate. This tour runs rain or shine (except in a strong thunder storm or very strong winds). Please dress appropriately with long pants and closed toed shoes (no flip flops or loose sandals). Also, layers recommended!. Wheelchair accessible only on limited part of SkyWalk bridges.. Very easy and flat walk. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
