What To Expect
It's time to be adventurous! Come and explore the rain forest covering over 29,000 hectares. Tortuguero is one of the main nesting sites of the Chelonia Midas, the endangered green sea turtle. Home to a wide variety of wildlife, the forests and waterways are inundated with sloths, monkeys, agoutis, coatimundis, crocodiles and manatees.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Not wheelchair accessible. May be operated by a multi-lingual guide. Most travelers can participate. This experience requires good weather.
