What To Expect
A trip that gives you the chance to visit the beautiful coastal town of Famagusta and to go as near as possible to the fenced and sealed - off part of the town that is known all around the world as the "Ghost Town of Varosha". Visit optional the Monastery of Saint Barnabas, the founder of the Cypriot Orthodox Church and the ancient city-kingdom of Salamis. Next stop is the Famagusta old Town Centre to see the Venetian Walls in the old part of the town and a visit at the Gothic church of Saint Nicolas and Othello Castle. The last stop will be the beach located right next to the "Ghost Town", a long stretch of golden sand with crystal clear water. The right place to be refreshed after sightseeing. Entrance fees for ancient site of St Barnabas and Salamis are an optional extra during the tour (cash only, 6 euros).
Return to Ayia Napa and Protaras approx. 17:00, Larnaka is around 18:00.

Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. Bring sunscreen and hat, swimming suit and towel. A current valid passport is required on the day of travel (European Union Citizens are allowed to use Identity Cards - For other nationalities passports are required. Only original documents will be accepted at the checkpoint - no photocopies are allowed.. Coach excursion with up to 55 passengers. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if the days of operation change. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Most travelers can participate. Please bring cash with you if you want to visit optional sites. Please be advised that holders of Armenian, Syrian, Nigerian and Turkmenistan passports and cannot join the excursion, unless they have a special visa! Ukrainians that live in Cyprus with a refugee status cannot join the excursion.. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 55 travelers. Meeting Point
Traveler pickup is offered
There might be assigned meeting points in walking distance from the accommodation. For Larnaca city centre and Makenzy area, the starting point will be from Intercity Bus Stop Finikoudes / Palm Tree Avenue at 7:45. In the afternoon dropping off is near police station on Makariou Avenue. Transfer from Larnaca to the excursion bus and back to Larnaca could be provided with a mini bus or the local bus. Pick up time will be sent at latest 1 day prior to excursion.
