Limassol: Treasures of Troodos, Mountain Villages

A forest road will lead us to Agros Village. Here, we will visit a well-known local sweets workshop, where you will see how the traditional Cypriot sweets and jams are made. Thereafter, we will visit The Rose Factory, where excellent rose water and organic beauty products are made using traditional Cypriot methods.Our journey will continue to the Solea Valley, will visit the Church of Agios Nikolaos Stegis. It is one of the ten Painted Churches in the Troodos Region, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Next we shall stop at the picturesque village of Kakopetria, where you will have some free time to relax, walk through the beautiful narrow streets and have home cooked lunch at one of the village restaurants. Continuing our trip, we will drive through pinewoods to the highest waterfall in Cyprus, Millomeri Waterfalls. And finally, we will visit a local village winery to taste a variety of locally produced wines, including “Commandaria”, the oldest named wine in the world.
