Pilsen is known as the beer capital of the Czech Republic, undoubtedly well-known for the world’s first and arguably best blond lager beer, specializing in bottom-fermented beer since 1842. We all know it as Pilsner beer, and it is the most reproduced type of beer in the world today. Besides the famous beer, we will take you to admire the Gothic cathedral with the tallest church tower in the country, the second-largest synagogue in Europe, and some beautiful historical buildings. Its rich cultural heritage has also been influenced by Baroque architecture. Join us for a 1 hours 30 minutes walking tour for some of the highlights of Pilsen, and to be taking in a time journey through the engaging stories of our local guide.
