What To Expect

More than two decades after the end of the GDR, you can still find many historical sights that your city guide would like to show you. Take a trip back in time to the East German past, in true style with a GDR vintage car, the legendary Barkas minibus....The city tour will focus on historic Berlin with Alexanderplatz, the Nikolai Quarter, Unter den Linden, the Brandenburg Gate and the government district, as well as a visit to the last GDR command post (border watchtower) on the Berlin Wall. One of the highlights is a walk through the historic "Invalidenfriedhof" (border cemetery). Here are not only graves of great personalities like Manfred von Richthofen "The Red Baron", but also of former Nazi leaders. The famous Bernauer Strasse with its original border strip, escape tunnel and watchtower must not be missed, of course.Look forward to an interesting and eventful city tour through Berlin.
