What To Expect
Discover the Neckar with its small villages in the vicinity of Ladenburg by kayak. The medieval town of Ladenburg, at the gates of Heidelberg, offers beautiful surroundings for a great kayak tour. Enjoy the best views of nature near the banks of the Neckar, alternating with the changing views of the surrounding landscape. Further, you can see the Odenwald, a low mountain range. If you like bird-watching, you will have the opportunity to observe the gray heron that can be seen frequently in this region. Upstream you will take a break on the riverbank and then paddle back to the meeting point strengthened and relaxed. No paddling experience is required.
