Experience the magic of bird watching in the exuberant Sierra de Bahoruco on an exciting 3-day, 2-night tour. From Santo Domingo, you will immerse yourself in the biodiversity of Cachote, a cloud forest full of endemic birds at sunrise. After having breakfast surrounded by nature, you will explore more birds in the region. The night in Barahona will allow you to rest and reflect.
On the second day, start before dawn in Cachote for another exciting bird watching. Enjoy breakfast on site before returning to Barahona, where dinner and rest await you.
The third day brings an expedition to La Placa, where unique species like the Chestnut-breasted Cuckoo will capture your attention. After an invigorating lunch, you will reflect on your experiences before heading back to Santo Domingo.
