If you want to explore Cairo but without the stress of planning and organising your transportation and activities, then this is the tour for you. You'll discover the beauty, history and culture that fills the city and check out its many incredible monuments. When you arrive at Giza, you'll be introduced to the last remaining wonder of the ancient world, the Pyramids. You'll enter one of these colossal tombs to unearth its secrets before standing in awe beneath the Great Sphinx. You'll end your day at the Museum of Cairo, which is home to the world's biggest collection of Egyptian artifacts, and wander spellbound through its main areas. The Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the treasure-laden Cairo Museum are all on this tour's itinerary and are sure to give you a perfect overview of Cairo's culture. Extra fees to be paid on-site:
- You'll gain access to the pyramids area, but the entrance fees to get inside the pyramids (Cheops, Mykerinos or Kefren) are not included. The tickets available are limited and must be purchased on site, so access is not guaranteed. The adult entrance fee of Cheops Pyramid is around 900 EGP, and Mykerinos or Kefren Pyramid is around 220 EGP. Children under 12 years get a 50% reduction
Know in advance:
- At the museum, personal cameras without flash are allowed for an additional fee that is currently EGP 50. Please note that this is subject to change without prior notice
- Visa fees are not included and this should be arranged by you in advance if applicable
- Please arrange a take-away breakfast box with your hotel reception one day before the tour date. If your accommodation includes dinner, then please coordinate with your hotel reception prior to the tour date to provide a late dinner at your room upon return
- The 6-people private group is open to a maximum of 15 participants
Remember to bring:
- Your passport /ID with a valid Egypt Full Visa sticker. If you only get the free stamp (the Gulf of Aqaba Stamp) upon arrival at Sharm Airport, then, you still need to buy the Full Egypt visa at Sharm Airport upon your hotel pick up to the tour
- Please bring long trousers, sunglasses, walking shoes, a camera, and money for tipping and shopping
