2-Hour Tour to Alcazaba de Almería and Barrio Andalusí

On this visit we will tour the three enclosures of the Alcazaba de Almería Monumental Complex for an hour and a half, then for the remaining half hour we will go to the Andalusian neighborhood.
The Alcazaba de Almería Monumental Complex was ordered to be built by the first caliph of al-Andalus, Abd al-Rahman III, from the mid-10th century. Therefore, we are facing a 1,000-year-old historical monument.
It consists of 3 enclosures (levels) and we will visit each one knowing the history of this monument and the main functions of each site.
The Alcazaba of Almería was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument for the first time in 1931. In 1967 the Board of Trustees of the Alcazaba was created with the participation of the City Council, Provincial Council and Ministry of Culture.
