Learn the ins-and-outs of equestrian horse care on a guided tour of a working stable.To begin you will get to know the different horses that live at the stables, their names, breeds, ages and personalities. Learn about the facilities and materials used for the maintenance and training of the horses that perform the province's most important and renowned equestrian show.Continue to the care area, where you will be shown how to brush, clean and check the health of a horse. If you wish, you can practice with one of the horses, following the instructions of the monitor. Gain an understanding on how to recognize the signs of well-being and discomfort of the animal, as well as how to prevent and treat possible problems such as parasites, wounds or illnesses. Then see how to prepare the horse for work by fitting the saddle, bit, reins and other tack. Hear about the functions and correct fit of each item, and how they affect the horse's performance and comfort.Finally, you will attend a dressage demonstration, where you will observe how the rider communicates with the horse through body language, voice and aids. The experience ends with a question and answer session, where you will be able to solve your doubts and curiosities about the world of horses.
