Sierra Nevada Small Group Tour

This small group tour is a chance to see the ‘other Andalusia' in the highlands of the Sierra Nevada. You'll drive past rocky outcrops, olive groves, almond and cork trees and cultivated farmland with stops in Puerto La Ragua and Guadix, where you'll visit one of its famous cave homes. And because group sizes are limited, you'll get to know even more from your expert guide.At Puerto La Ragua, there'll be a stop and a short walk through the pine trees, in a peaceful nature reserve. After a coffee break at a local restaurant and free time for lunch – not included – we'll head into the Sierra Nevada foothills. Drive by shark fin-shaped peaks to Guadix – it's the picture of a town that's jumped from the pages of a fantasy novel.You'll notice chimneys sprouting from the hills and mysterious whitewashed doorways leading into the mountainsides – and get to see inside one of these unusual cave dweller's homes. Finally, it's on to an earthenware shop to watch a pottery-making demonstration.
