What To Expect

Visit the first Banana Museum in Gran Canaria and the only one in all the Canary Islands that has 13 different varieties of banana trees from all over the worldLearn all about the cultivation on a guided tour of the farm Hacienda La ReKompensa. You will visit a Canarian house dating back to 1804, which has been completely restored to its original architecture. Taste a selection of handmade banana based and locally-made products, such as jams and banana wine, as well as banana based cosmetics.

Important info

Hacienda La ReKompensa is open from Sunday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (closed on Saturdays). You may arrive whenever you prefer during this time and you will receive a guided tour upon arrival (there will be guided tours every 30 minutes)
The visit lasts 45 minutes, but you can stay on the farm for as long as you wish
