Thematic Hiking Route La Zarza in La Palma

Leaving from the La Zarza Archaeological Park, this walk begins nestled in one of the most attractive Laurissilva forests that La Palma has. We will talk to you about it, to identify some species, their uses for centuries for the local population and learn about the importance that the North of the island had for the subsistence economy (livestock, agriculture, food use, trade, etc).
In part of the walk we will have views of the coastal cliffs from the impressive viewpoint of Doña Pola, where we will pause for a snack.
Given the tranquility and special nature of this forest, we will ask you to walk in silence for the last km to be able to listen and feel the magic of this place.
At the end of the activity you will be able to visit the visitor center (currently closed for works), as well as the guide will provide you with information on what to visit for the rest of the day in the area.
