Water trekking on the Chillar River from Granada

An 8-kilometre round-trip journey along the riverbed of the Chíllar river which is found in Nerja, in the Natural Park of Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama. It is one of the most beautiful rivers in the province of Malaga due to its narrow gorges combined with large resting areas and its landscapes carved over thousands of years by water erosion on the limestone rock.

The route runs along its channel, which can be covered for several kilometers, enjoying a unique enclave and with the particularity of being able to dive for a large part of the route.

The water is clear and as you go up the channel narrows and the river level can reach above your knees.
