What To Expect
Also the young ones can now enjoy a climbing adventure on this safe route. Specially tailored for the smaller climbers with easy access for all. They do not need an ice ax or crampons to successfully finish the route because the route offers many holds for hands and feet. A qualified instructor will be there with the kid climbers supervising them throughout the whole trial. Meet your English-speaking guide at the Hotel Pyhätunturi's reception and he will gear everyone up with helmets before heading to the Tajukangas ice wall. Everyone can enjoy some traditional Finnish berry juice to warm up while listening to your guide. At the end of the tour all climbers will receive a well-deserved diploma as a memory to this very special experience.

- Please wear warm winter clothing including warm boots, hat, gloves or mittens
- Parents can try ice climbing simultaneously with the kids
- All participants must have a minimum age of 5 years old
- We recommend you to bring some snacks
- Pick-up is available at extra charge, please confirm the pick-up time (and place) directly with the local operator at least 48 hours before the event.
