Visit a husky farm including a 10KM husky sleigh ride

Lead your own husky team like a musher through the beautiful winter landscapes of Lapland and enjoy a thrilling experience in the Arctic! After pick up directly from your accommodation and you will receive warm clothing and your guide will drive you to a lovely husky farm located 30 minutes drive from Rovaniemi. At the farm, you are welcomed by the mushers and the excited barking of their lovely dogs. You meet your dog team and receive the safety instructions and tips on how to drive the sleigh. Once ready, you will embark for a great sleigh ride adventure through the winter scenery for about 10 km (around 1h/1h15 depending on the snow conditions). There are always 2 adults on one sleigh ride (one driving, and one sitting in the sleigh) and have the possibility to switch the driver and passenger halfway. After the safari, the mushers will take time to share their lifestyle, explain to you what the job of a musher consists of, how they train their dogs and answer all your questions around an open fire. All the dogs are very photo enthusiasts, so do not forget to bring your camera with you.
