What To Expect

Start your survival adventure with a theoretical workshop where your guide will explain you the survival techniques you need in the arctic. You will learn the most important products you need and the different materials and sustainability. To give you a break you can enjoy a delicious light nutritious meal after the workshop. Head outside and here your instructor will show you how to build your own quinzee. This traditional snow shelter is an important skill you need to survive in the arctic. After the show you have to build your own quinzee. Make sure you make it well as you will have to spend the night in your quinzee. After the building you will be rewarded with another delicious meal. In the morning you will receive your last meal before you will head back to civilization.

Important info

Please wear warm winter clothing including warm boots, hat, gloves or mittens
Physical difficulty level is moderate, you might need a basic fitness level
There is a warm back building nearby the camping spot in case of emergency
In the morning all participants will receive an individual interview to make sure everyone is fine after the night out in the snow
A vegetarian meal is available, please contact local supplier at least 48 hours before the event. You will find the contact information in the voucher after booking
Pick-up from Luosto is available at extra charge, please confirm the pick-up time (and place) directly with the local operator at least 48 hours before the event
